New crash finder reveals accident blackspots

A new site has just been launched which plots UK road incidents onto a map.

Much like the UK crime map, give CrashMap a location at it will show you the most up to date listing of the UK crash database. You can filter the incidents between slight, serious or fatal from years 2005 to 2010. This years listing will be added once the Department of Transport release the information.

Although highly accurate, markings may be up to 10 metres away from the location of the incident, something to keep in mind if you wonder why items are slightly off the road.

CrashMap was brought to life by British road safety company Campsall Owen. The map can be found at http://www.crashmap.co.uk.
