Suzuki Swift Sport
This morning Suzuki revealed the exciting new Swift Sport at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt.
The latest evolution of the Swift boasts enhanced handling and braking combined with a more powerful engine. The 1.6 litre lump produces a healthy 134 bhp and 118 lb-ft torque, that’s a 11 bhp and 9 lb-ft increase of the standard Swift. The extra power comes from an all new variable intake system, optimisation of the intake VVT and increased valve lift.
On the outside, the Sport will include a larger front grill, finned front fog lamp bezels, 17″ alloy wheels, and a twin tipped exhaust system.
To keep the Swift Sport safe on the road, Suzuki have squeezed in seven airbags as standard, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), ABS, and a five star Euro NCAP rating.
The Swift is expected to launch in the UK early next year. Prices are yet to be confirmed although the current model retails at £12,995.
