Vettel Inspired Infiniti FX50

Luxury car manufacturer Infiniti have released numerous images and details of the special edition FX50 designed with the aid of F1 champ, Sebastian Vettel.

Vettel’s personal touches, mostly modelled in carbon fibre, include a restyled front grill, carbon front splitter taking design cues from an Formula One car, rear spoiler with matching diffuser, and a brand new twin exhaust system.

That, with further ECU tweeks can launch the car to 62mph in an estimated 5.5 seconds, three tenths faster than the standard FX. The 423 bhp engine should go on to take the car up to 186 mph (300 kph).

Infiniti have not released a due date or pricing but further information should be revealed on Tuesdays 13th September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
